In the spirit of the Civil Rights Movement (during which the Fraternity was founded) and Black History Month, Iota Phi Theta presents the Cultural Education Movement. This program will seek to educate the masses about the impact that the African-American culture has had on our society. Iota Phi Theta chapters will sponsor numerous activities during January and February that will promote cultural awareness. Iota’s goal is to bring forth a change in race relations in society.
